i think i caught a cold, or its just a bad case of a runny nose

either way i feel very stuffy and tired, hopefully it will go away

by wednesday! oh please please please!

it would suck so much if i couldn't go on my trip because of a cold

anyways, today i am wearing my pjs

i feel that i always overthink everything and end up doing to much, so today i tried to keep my outfit simple

yes my shorts are very short, but today i have fashion event staff class, so i will be practicing my runway walk, won't hurt to show some leg i guess

today was a morning class only day, so i decided to go to the bank to exchange my yen for euros!!! my trip is sooo so close i can almost touch it!! :)

..but... the bank nearby didn't have euros so i had to go to shibuya to exchange, but its not that bad since its only like fifteen minutes by train from my school, so off to my adventure i went.

shibuya is so crowded, even on a thursday

crossing the street is like trying to avoid dodge balls, aaah! but ive gotten used to it x_x;;

anyways, so i found the special bank and finished my task, but i decided since i came to shibuya, why not take a look around eh?

and so i went to h&m, tried on hella stuff... but didn't find anything i super liked, so i gave up on h&m

and was too tired to shop at another store so i just hopped back on the train toward my dorm...

on the ride back i remembered that i needed tights since all of mine were getting worn out and ragged, so i got off at kinshicho station and walked to the mall

and guess what!?!?!!

one of my favorite stores was having a big ass sale!!! everything, EVERYTHING!! 70% off, seriously EVERYTHING! omigod, it was heaven. really.

so i went a little crazy and tried on hella stuff, and bought:

black blazer with white lace lining

white and navy sweater

yellow plaid dress

long white cardigan

navy turtleneck with lace trimming

grey long sleeve with lace trimming

six items all together only cost 65bucks!!

isn't it a dream come true!!?!?!

well at least its mine, i mean i used to walk by that store drooling over that black blazer everytime, its so nice, when you fold the sleeves the white lace just looks amazing, its seriously a dream put into a jacket

and now its mine!!! finally!! and it was only eighteen bucks! (originally sixty!)

oh and the store is called EARTH MUSIC ECOLOGY, i think it's a japanese brand, they have really cute clothes, check it out if you like the "sweet natural style" its really popular here

and now i finally have winter clothing, before today i only had cotton shirts so i had to layer on hoodies and jackets, but now i wont have to layer as much, yes!

the peacoats there are really cute too~ originally 80, but with 70% off they were super cheap, like 20bucks, and their skirts were all around 10 dollars~~

if you live in the area go there, GOGOGOGOGO!! NOW!!

oh, and i did go and buy tights too~

luckily the sock store was having a sale too~ ;)

another chill weekend

ok, so i didn't really do much this weekend except work and chill out in my room

but i did finally watch "Amelie" ~!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really liked it a lot, i just finished watching it a few minutes ago so i still have the warm buzz you get after watching a happy movie, and the slight sadness that it is over T^T like a hangover when reality hits and i'm still in my room full of unfolded clothes and laundry still to be done...

but i will push that aside for now, aaaahh better make the best of this buzz! :)

i really liked how the movie wrapped up in the end, there were so many emotions mixed all together and i liked how there was a little mystery in it, i want to watch more movies like this!! this was a really fun movie, and i have a feeling i will be talking about it for weeks now

i had a mcdonalds sausage egg mcmuffin set for breakfast, it was the first time since elementary school i think, it was exciting

and it came with milk~ :)

but the egg in the sandwich was broken :( it doesn't change the taste so its okay, just kind of sad to see a broken sandwich

then i was tired from work so i took a nap~

then went out to buy fabric and a button for my pants

i had a coupon for 20% off... but i got the fabric on sale so it didn't count, so my button which was about a dollar just became 80 cents... i guess that was the time to splurge if any... and yet i forgot to~

but oh well, there wasn't much i needed at the moment

actually i don't need much at the moment, there's just so many things that i want

oh, and i also ate all of my wonka chocolate bar so i bought a Schogetten cappuccino chocolate bar, ive never tried it before, but it looks good ^____^

i eat a piece everyday as a reward ^____^

and also bought a mini notebook to write down plans and phrases for my upcoming trip to barcelona and paris~

this isn't actually what i wore out, but i was trying to figure out what to do with my scarf besides wrap it around my neck

thank goodness my room has a heater, and the dorm toilets have heated seats!

... but i have to admit, heated toilet seats are sooo not eco-friendly... they are heated 24/7 and i dont even sit on it for more than 5 minutes... so what a big waste of electricity...

today i wore a headband... first time i ever wore one like that... hippie~~

i trimmed my eyebrows and now they are super light... so i gotta fill them in otherwise they look non-existent, good thing i didn't have morning class, cuz they took forever to get even... practice makes perfect!! ......... i hope.

i also bought more yarn so i can finish my scarf!! yaaaay~~

i hope i finish it while winter is still in town...

also for my fashion accessory class, we are going to make hats next and i've decided to make a beret~ i bought the fabric today and its gonna be bomb! gaaaah! can't wait to make it

i took this while i was home-staying in chiba, i had a lot of time during the weekends so i used to dress up and dance around and take pictures a lot... hmmm somehow i keep finding wierd ways to pass the time

for the winter break i went to ishigaki (in okinawa) to visit my grandma and old classmates, it was nice and warm there, even got to go fishing! but i didn't catch anything... it's ok, the last time i went fishing i caught like five fish and took a week to eat it all... i got tired of fish, yea...

maybe i'll post pics of my vacation there... although i don't remember taking many pictures...

so i spent this weekend curled up in my room watching movies and making stuff, i started making a scarf and i also make a mini straw hat! it fits my little panda friend. teehee.

i watched "Youth in Revolt" and about to start "Amelie"~~

(i wear headphones so i don't bother my dormmates... but i laugh loud enough that it cancels the point of wearing them...poo)

"Youth in Revolt" apparently takes place in Oakland and Berkeley... which is close to where i grew up, but sadly i didn't really recognize the places in the movie... too much time away i guess.

I'm excited to watch "Amelie" cuz i've always wanted to watch it and also i've been studying French for my upcoming school trip to Paris~! I am no where near conversation level... but hopefully i'll be able to get around.

This is actually my first trip of my life abroad so i'm super excited! (See, i don't consider Japan abroad for me... cuz it's just like going back home, and i also speak the language so it takes the fun out of being a super tourist.)

i also read, at the moment i'm reading "Julie and Julia"

i saw the movie and saw the book at a nearby bookstore, there isn't a big variety of english books in japan, its was a choice between Sci-Fi and books that were made into movies...

i used to hate reading and probably have only read three or four books in my life (mostly just for school), but i'm actually starting to get into it.

recently i read "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and found it very terrifying how much i can relate to it, so another new years resolution of mine is to cut back on spending money, yes. (please please let this one work out, please!!)

then for dinner I went out to Tomato Jr. which is a cheap pasta restaurant nearby, i've been craving pasta all weekend
