i made this dress in class, the pattern is really simple and requires no darts which i liked, the draping in the back is made by a sort of fishtail braid and there isn't much sewing needed either. it is two layers (two dresses) connected by the braid in the back, i made both patterns the same way but added more flares on the bottom dress but you can't really tell.

i was surprised that my skirt went so perfectly with it! :) happy

today was a national holiday in Japan, so no school for me~

here is what i did today ;)

10am - took a personality test for the company that i will work for next year

11:30 - headed over to Yotsuya station to meet my friend

12pm - ate lunch at Siddique restaurant (yummy Indian food)

1:30 - headed over to Sophia University's festival, walked around the booths and campus

2pm - watched a really long dance performance

2:30 - watched another dance performance by G-Splash which was awesome!! (also long)

3:30 - left festival to fill up on caffeine from Starbucks

3:45 - drank a Gingerbread Latte

4pm - headed over to Shinjuku

4:30 - did some shop research at Hanjiro (where i will start work soon)

5pm - friend came to meet us

5:30 - another friend and her twin sister came to meet us

6pm - headed over to eat some Malaysian and Turkish food (cheap and good!)

7:30 - headed over to friends house

8pm - drank pearl jasmine yakuruto tea, yum!

8:30 - watched tropic thunder

11pm - headed home

11:59 - arrived at dorm (barely made curfew!!)

oh and i painted my nails last week, adding some fall shades to my silhouette

so i guess i lost a little weight, because back in june when i finished making these pants, sadly they did not fit, but i tried them on recently and now they do!! yay~~

i still have to finish making the jacket..... but i have my graduation project to work on, so i don't know when i can finish my jacket T^T

it's very light and came with a bag to put it in after i take it off, to catch all the raindrops dripping off my coat~
