i made this dress in class, the pattern is really simple and requires no darts which i liked, the draping in the back is made by a sort of fishtail braid and there isn't much sewing needed either. it is two layers (two dresses) connected by the braid in the back, i made both patterns the same way but added more flares on the bottom dress but you can't really tell.

i was surprised that my skirt went so perfectly with it! :) happy

so i've decided to dedicate the rest of my week to characters of Gossip Girl, which probably my favorite American TV show. Today I am Jenny Humphrey, I don't really like the character much, but i would say her outfits are very cute, but my favorite is still Serena!!!

today is the first day back at school, i actually don't have class on mondays but i'm taking an extra pattern making class to prepare for my exam next week, i'm so nervous!

I'm in Vancouver right now with my friend! We are having tons of fun, we woke up at 5am, flew to Vancouver and partied till 5am. Made new friends and met someone who was on Wheel A Fortune, danced on stage at a gay bar, now my muscles are sore, but i don't regret a thing!

today was the last day of FCUK San Francisco, they're closing up all over and it makes me sad, i really like their clothes... although it's a bit expensive... and at the moment i can't really afford it.

luckily though i bought a new bag from them for 75%off~~

it's big so it can hold all my school stuff including my B4 size files!!

and it's made with real leather so it should last a while,

it's a really good deal, so happy!!
