my classmate's boss gave this coat to her because it was too small, and then my classmate passed it on to me because it was too big

i loved used clothing because i like the thought of circulation, wonder where this coat will go next

this outfit sounds expensive but it cost me less than 100 bucks, including my shoes which are from h&m (not seen here)

i made this dress in class, the pattern is really simple and requires no darts which i liked, the draping in the back is made by a sort of fishtail braid and there isn't much sewing needed either. it is two layers (two dresses) connected by the braid in the back, i made both patterns the same way but added more flares on the bottom dress but you can't really tell.

i was surprised that my skirt went so perfectly with it! :) happy

today we went to Edgewater Casino and it was my first actual casino experience, it was fun even though i didn't win any money

we went gift shopping, and now we're getting ready to go eat sushi! i heard Vancouver has a lot of good sushi restaurants~ yay~

Today we walked around Yaletown and despite the cloudy weather it was a very nice walk! Very quiet neighborhood. Very expensive. Lots of lovely buildings, trendy boutiques, candle-lit restaurants, parks, fountains, just so much to see. Had some mango mojitos and poutine which is a Canadian cuisine, very yummy~!

oh~ and i changed my tongue ring, it feels kind of weird because it's so big, but it shines enough to make up for the sun in hiding.

and this is the bag i made a while ago in class, it's small but can hold a lot~

I'm in Vancouver right now with my friend! We are having tons of fun, we woke up at 5am, flew to Vancouver and partied till 5am. Made new friends and met someone who was on Wheel A Fortune, danced on stage at a gay bar, now my muscles are sore, but i don't regret a thing!

i really like the Swedish designer Ewa i Walla, her clothes are so fun~

there's something about Sweden that i really like, i've always wanted to live there, even for just a short while

and i took my pattern making certification test on saturday!!!

it was ok i guess... the results come out mid july!!!

i'm happy it's over because now i can relax a little, but sad too because it felt really good to work hard and study for something and the nerve racking-ness of it all was just so exciting~

next come my fashion competitions!!!
